How to Draw a Halloween boy – let’s get Started!

Step 1

We will represent a little girl dressed in a witch costume during this guide on drawing a Halloween boy. We will begin with the hat she is sporting from this method. This choice looks like a traditional witch hat, as revealed in the reference print. This means that you can use some curved lines for the big brim of the hat. You will then have a belt around the top of the rim. Finally, use some more curvy lines for the top of the hat. It will get relatively thin and pointy near the top, and it will fall off as well. With this hat drawn, we can continue to step 2 of the guide!

Step 2

This second part of the Halloween children’s drawing will make you draw the child’s head and face. First, use curvy, wavy lines for the hair strands falling from her hat. Then draw some ovals with circles inside for the eyes. Then we’ll use some simple curved lines for the nose and mouth, and then we’ll use a few more for the outline of the head. Once these aspects are complete, you are ready for the third part of this guide.

Step 3

In this third step of our guide on how to draw a Halloween boy, we will focus on the outfit he is wearing. We’ll use lots of curved lines for the outlines of this outfit, as we want it to look quite puffy. Some thick shapes will be used for the systems of the sleeves, and the skirt will also be fanned out at an angle. We’ll then run your hands up his sleeves, where he’ll grab his Halloween basket in a future step.

Step 4

Before we add the final details for this Halloween kid drawing in the next step, we’ll first remove some legs for her. There will be ample space near the top of the legs, as this will be where the basket will go later. As for the legs, you can use curved lines for the outlines and then draw some lines through them for the patterns of her long socks. Finish by drawing your shoes, and then you’re ready for the final details we mentioned as we move on to the next step!

Step 5

Trick-or-treating would be pretty hard without a candy box, so we’ll draw a candy basket in this step of our guide on how to draw a Halloween kid. These baskets will often be themed after a Halloween pumpkin, and this one is no different. Use some curved lines for the outlines of the basket, and then add some vertical lines across it. Then draw the ragged eyes, nose, and mouth for the lantern’s face. You can also choose a different design for this basket if you prefer! One idea would be to draw a basket in the shape of a cauldron, but there are also many ideas you can choose from. You can also remove a Halloween background or add more children to costumes! How do you think you will finish this image?

Step 6

All the outlines of this fantastic Halloween children’s drawing are complete, so you’re ready to have fun coloring while you finish it! Witches are often associated with the color purple, which is why we chose purple as the primary color for this image. We used purples for her hat and outfit and incorporated a bit of orange for the pumpkin. Then for his socks, we use some red and white stripes. These are the colors we chose, but they are just a suggestion! You can opt for these same colors in your image, but there’s also a lot of freedom to use any color options.
